REVOLUTION RISING; audition
Ms. Marvel aka Carol Danvers (changed her costume up a bit and by a bit I mean a lot lol)

Name: Carol ‘Carrie’ Danvers
Alias: Ms. Marvel

Species: Human / Kree hybrid
Power(s): superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, energy projection and absorption, & flight. (+ kree knowledge and training)
Personality: clever, intelligent, quick on her feet, independent, easily annoyed, keeps up a strong façade even when she is struggling, easily stressed, somewhat depressed. She constantly needs something to fight.

Bio: Carol Danvers was raised a lady. But it seems as though she might die a man. (what?) She grew up average, a teen in NY with one dream and one dream alone: To fly. And her dream came true. Straight out of high school and she was already entered into the Air Force. It all seemed perfect, and it really was. She was going to be a hero, accepted among some of the bigger names in the history of the air force, maybe she’d snag a job working in the CIA, just maybe everything would go as planned. And it did. For a while at least. Carol landed a job in intelligence and ended up working along side none other than Nick Fury himself, and another close Ally Logan Howlett. She was successful in the intelligence field as well, wracked up enough points to even get a bit of Fury’s approval but investigations can go a bit far. She soon found herself knee deep in an investigation in the KGB, leading her to meet the great Mar-Vell. But that wasn’t all it led her too, it also led her to losing her job, even after Logan tried to save her neck and he was equally as angry when they decided to let her go. Even so her investigations into the mysterious Mar-Vell or Marvel as she soon learned most called him, continued. It wasn’t enough to have seen him in action, she needed to know who he was. Clearly the only reasonable way of doing such, was to put herself in the center of the conflict. Marvel did not approve but their strange relationship morphed into a friendship and then, rumor had it that it had been something else but she still didn’t understand him. She didn’t need to. It was a Friday. She can still remember it. Waking up chained to a large super computer is not something you forget but that wasn’t even the highlight of her day. Captain Marvel came to her rescue, but both of them were unable to escape before the Kree (the captains species) device would explode. The energy bombardment somehow caused Carol’s genetic structure to be melded with Mar-vell's. While Mar-vell was apparently unaltered by the event, Carol was now a perfect hybrid of Kree and human genes. In addition, she possessed all of Mar-vell's Kree knowledge and training. Through this transformation, Ms. Marvel was born. The energy bombardment somehow caused Carol’s genetic structure to be melded with Mar-vell's. While Mar-vell was apparently unaltered by the event, Carol was now a perfect hybrid of Kree and human genes. In addition, she possessed all of Mar-vell's Kree knowledge and training. Through this transformation, Ms. Marvel was born. Carol Danvers remained Carol Danvers for quite some time after the event, Mar-Vell and her lost contact once she returned to New York, becoming a writer for the daily bugle. As she began the new chapter in her life, the power and personality of Ms. Marvel began to emerge. It took some time but Carol would eventually learn to accept her duties as Ms. Marvel. She does not think of herself as a hero, but with the coming war, she just might need to. She has yet to work along side Mar-Vell again and is not exactly looking forward the possibility of that in the future, but it seems the Avengers or a certain agent at least, has it out for the Kree god but they don’t exactly tell their new recruits this sorts of thing.

So…yeah…this is awkward. lol. So, I actually like that someone chose the same model as me, because now I have a push in a different direction which I actually like much more. So this is sort of a draft-ish but I don't know how much of this I will keep.

▪ How long have you been tattooing (or piercing)? What's your experience?
Well, I started doing piercing when I was about ten. I know, it’s weird but my friends were all going through that rebellious phase and everyone else was too scared to do it. I actually was a student of Kats, that’s how I got a job here. I had originally intended on being an Apprentice at CAT and then working somewhere else, but lucky me there was a job spot open. I mean most of my experiences comes from this place.
 
▪ How is your relationship with the Stark sisters?
It’s good, unless they’ve been lying to me for the past few years. There was one time though…
 
▪ What do you expect to get out of working in CAT?
I guess a way of paying the bills, for right now at least. Truth be told I never imagined I would make an actual career out of piercing, it just happened to be a possibility. I do get a lot of joy working here, so that will always be a benefit.
 
▪ Where do you see yourself in five years.
I mean. I’d hope maybe taking adv

Because I love this idea, I may be going a bit out of my comfort zone with the character but it’s still exciting!

Incredibly. I mean I’m a bit worried that her character is wrong for the rp but I like playing characters who are more on the childish side of things.

The Avengers may have thought their biggest challenge was already behind them. But there are far more evils in this galaxy that are quickly rising.

holy sh-t, i wish mia would play karolina, i mean i feel like she is perf for the role. I mean ugh...I just want them to come out with a Runaways movie right now, iron man is so 2008 (went there).
 
i'm going to be doing the entire runaways team, so get ready for my excessive fangirling...this was partially brought on by emma making the avengers/marvel rp. so yeah, here is goes, using her audition template for it.

Personality: Sympathetic, a relatively private person. She has manners and does a good job of expressing herself but every once in a while she will go a bit crazy, there’s a lot these girls have to keep to themselves.

Bio: Olive’s mother was not originally part of the society. Her mother died, and her father remarried to a woman who was part of the debutante society. Yes, Maud Mulder, she considers herself queen of everything, even the lawn in front of their almost-a-castle home. For years Maud has been trying to get Olive’s older sister Samantha to join in but Samantha would have none of it, not matter what the ridiculous bribe her mother came up with. Olive is the type of girl who in most cases is fine with whatever her parents sign her up for, she’s enjoyed the many ballet lessons and even some of the etiquette lessons were fun for her, but that doesn’t seem to apply to the competition lying in her future. She isn’t competitive, if anything, she’s the most laid back person you’ll ever meet which worries her mother. You can’t have a young woman being laid back in a society like this. Since she was younger, there was only one thing her mo-I mean step mother could agree on, was that she was going to become a ballet dancer when she was older. Or any type of dancer, but if she would become a dance teacher she wouldn’t focus on Ballet. That goal has carried into her life now, at seventeen she’s been taking various dance classes and rarely has focused school time because she always seems to be thinking about the next solo to audition for. Her birth mother still haunts her though. It might be the only thing standing in the way of anything, all the secrets. I mean not even in a cliché way, she just doesn’t know a thing about the woman and apparently you just don’t talk about it. When she turned fifteen her sister took her to a ‘small’ gathering of some of her close friends. Now, it wasn’t exactly small but it wasn’t massive, it was just an opportunity for Olive to break out of her shell. She hated it, her mother hated it and almost kicked her sister out of the house but after remembering what happened to another family who struggled with a sibling. They were kicked out of the Debutante lottery and essentially banished from the society. So for years, Samantha has been their ‘secret’, but after having joined in the competition, Olive isn’t so sure she can keep it under wraps anymore.
 
Secret: She fancies women. Normally that wouldn’t be a very good secret but considering the competition and her family back story, I’m pretty sure if anyone knew she would be in big trouble.
